Before Your Session Every empowerment portrait client receives a personal preparation guide covering wardrobe, styling, skincare, and what to expect on the day of your session. Clients booked on the Legacy Portfolio package receive a one-on-one pre-session strategy call with Rez to plan your looks, your story, and your vision.
Your Session Day You arrive at our South St. Louis studio at 5205 Gravois Ave — a private, welcoming space designed to make you feel comfortable from the moment you walk in. Rez begins every session with a relaxed conversation about your goals and what you want to walk away with. From there the session unfolds naturally — guided posing, wardrobe changes, and genuine moments captured in between.
Most clients say they felt nervous walking in and completely themselves within the first fifteen minutes. That shift is intentional. It is what we do.
Same-Day Image Selection You review your images on a large studio monitor right after your session. You choose your favorites before you leave — no waiting, no wondering, no unpleasant surprises weeks later. You walk out knowing exactly what is coming.
Retouched and Delivered Within 24–48 Hours Every selected image is hand-retouched by Rez — natural, polished, and true to who you are. Is this boudoir photography? No. Empowerment portraits are fully clothed, fashion-forward sessions focused on personality, confidence, and self-expression. The emphasis is always on who you are — not how much skin you show.
What should I wear? Bold colors, textured fabrics, structured jackets, statement pieces, and outfits that make you feel powerful and expressive. Every client receives a full wardrobe preparation guide before their session. Clients on the Legacy Portfolio package also receive a personal wardrobe consultation call with Rez.
