How long does a headshot session take?
Most individual sessions run between 45 minutes and 90 minutes depending on your package and the number of looks. Corporate single-image sessions are typically the shortest. Acting and branding sessions with multiple outfit changes run closer to 90 minutes to two hours. We build enough time into every session so you never feel rushed — and so we can take a second pass on any look that is not quite right.
What should I wear to my headshot session?
For corporate headshots, wear what you would wear to your most important client meeting — solid colors photograph best, and mid-tones like navy, grey, and burgundy tend to work well on camera. Avoid busy patterns, logos, and bright white next to your face. For acting headshots, bring options that represent your different casting types — commercial, theatrical, and character looks. How quickly will I receive my finished images?
You select your images on a large studio monitor before you leave — so you walk out of the session knowing exactly which photos are being retouched and what is coming. Final retouched images are delivered in high resolution within 24 to 48 hours. Do you retouch the images?
Yes. Complimentary retouching is included with every session. We retouch every selected image to remove temporary distractions — a blemish, flyaway hair, minor under-eye shadows — without changing the way you fundamentally look. You will look like yourself on your best day, not an AI-smoothed version of someone else. We never use AI retouching tools that flatten skin texture or alter your features.
